About Us

Chinese Cultural Education Association (CCEA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan educational organization dedicated to promoting the understanding and appreciation of Chinese language, arts and culture in the San Francisco East Bay communities. Founded in 1976, CCEA has fostered cross-cultural learning by reaching both children and adults through offerings in Mandarin classes, teacher workshops and special events.

CCEA offers Chinese Mandarin classes for children 2.9 to 11 years old through our New Sprouts Language Programs that include weekday, weekend and afterschool classes through out the school year. In August of 2007, we successfully completed our first Mandarin Language and Culture Summer Camp in Oakland, California.

CCEA also supports and sponsors Chinese Mandarin teacher training and curriculum development through training classes, lectures and workshops.
